Pool Bead Blasting in Cypress, TX

Calcium scale, hard-water deposits and years of staining lifted off your tile, stone and rock features — without tearing anything out. Serving Cypress and the Greater Houston area.

Bead Blasting

What bead blasting actually does

Houston water is hard. Over the years it leaves a chalky white crust of calcium along your waterline, across your spa spillway, and down the face of any rock or stone feature the water touches. Add algae and organic staining on top, and a feature that started out as warm natural sandstone ends up looking grey, green and neglected.

Bead blasting removes it. We use fine glass beads driven at controlled pressure to lift the calcium, mineral deposits and staining straight off the surface — down to the clean material underneath. The beads are soft enough to leave your tile, grout and stone intact, but far more effective than scrubbing or chemicals on deposits that have been building for years.

It's the right call when a pool doesn't need a remodel — the tile and stone are perfectly good, they're just buried under scale. Cleaning them costs a fraction of replacing them.

Real job, real result

Rock waterfall & spa surround

Years of hard water had left a chalky calcium crust across the flagstone and a dark band of organic staining along the spillway. Nothing structural was wrong with it — the stone underneath was fine. A bead blast took the deposits off and brought the original warm sandstone colour back out.

What we blast

Surfaces we clean

If hard water touches it and it's left a mark, there's a good chance we can take it off.

Waterline tile

The classic white calcium band along the tile line — lifted off without damaging tile or grout.

Rock & stone features

Waterfalls, grottos and flagstone surrounds where scale and organic staining have built up.

Spa spillways

Spillover edges take the worst of it — constant water flow, constant deposits.

Bead blast or acid wash?

Which one does your pool need?

They solve different problems, and people mix them up constantly.

Bead blasting is for deposits sitting on top of a surface that's still good — calcium on your tile, scale on your rock feature. We take the deposit off and leave the tile or stone as it was.

A drain down and acid wash is for the pool's interior finish itself — plaster that's gone green, stained or dull. It etches a thin layer off the plaster to reveal clean surface underneath.

Plenty of pools want both. Not sure which yours needs? Send us a photo and we'll tell you straight — including if the honest answer is that it needs neither.
